Janet's Celebration Service

I am completely overwhelmed by how many people have viewed Janet's Celebration Service online. I think there were over 4000 last time that I looked and I would guess there were over 1000 in attendance. Her story is continuing to spread and with every view God's name is being heard around the world.

I'd love for you to be able to watch it still if you have a chance. If nothing else watch the video that she left and then her son, Bryan (my husband) and daughter, Jordan, sing a song in her memory right after. (Her video starts at the 52 minute mark)

Her brother, David, also gives an amazing eulogy of the chronology of her life right after. If you watch please comment and let us know your thoughts. We are so glad to be able to share this with everyone. Here is the link to her service!

Jordan and I also wanted all of Janet's readers to know that we will both be blogging on our respective blogs about life and how our family is coping after losing our sweet Janet. We'd love to have you follow along with us as we continue Janet's legacy. My post yesterday talks about our potential plans for Janet's blog and how was want to continue sharing her story! Please check it out.

Jordan's Blog & Jenna's blog

We love y'all and thank you so much for loving on our Janet and helping her share her story.

  1. I watched the service live. I've followed Janet's story for over a year now after hearing about her through Kelly (Kelly's Korner). After watching the beautiful tribute I thought to myself " I want to be more like that".

  3. I, too, watched the service live.. thank you so much for allowing that connection to take place. It was an absolutely beautiful service. I, too, want to live a life like Janet did, and to leave a legacy to my children and grandchildren, as she did. What an incredible blessing that she was able to say her goodbyes to all of her loves, and her video was awesome. It's so hard to explain how you can come away from a funeral service with hope and joy, but when you know that you will see that person in Heaven someday, it is much easier to do. While I didn't know Janet in person, I have no doubt that someday, I will be able to thank her in person for her transparency, her love for the Lord that she shared so freely and for her beautiful smile that she had on her face in seemingly every picture of her. Thanks to her family for sharing her with us. with love and prayers from Kansas.

  4. I watched the service and was totally amazed with the love and respect shown to Janet. I would have loved to have known her in person, but feel in some way that I do with all she has shared. It was so touching and through it all, her grace was shining. Thank yall for sharing and for continuing to share. She touched more lives than you will ever know.

  7. Beautiful service! I learned of Janet through Kelly's Korner and was immediately inspired and in awe of her life - wow!!! What is the name of the song that Brian and Jordan sing? I would like to download it. May God match the sorrow of the loss of Janet with the assurance of His faithfulness.
